Donald Trump - Let's Bring Back Religion In America

Wow, just Wow! what a leader! and what clarity of thoughts. I was in USA in the month of October, 2016, when the presidential debate between Trump and Hillary Clinton was going on and since then Trump never misses to impress me. Much of what he says is absolutely correct. All his views are in the good interests of America and American people. Read my previous post on Trump is right on Syria and on foreign plots

No wonder why Elon Musk and many people endorsed him. I have never seen any president who is so vocal about his religion. He not only has the guts to openly talk about his religion but has declared to revive it in public. Just look at the reactions of people in the comments of the video.

Trump is spot on here. Majority of the problems in America is due to the lack of religion in their hearts. I hope Trump implements it and keeps up to his words. Let's bring back religion in America and let's introduce all religions in schools. No, Daniel Dennett, we are not afraid of anything, go ahead, introduce all religions in schools and see how your militant atheism and your philosophy obliterates into thin air.

How to escape from cosmic fatalism?

Its been almost 10 years since I started writing on this blog and throughout all my posts I am continuously echoing two conceptions which has disturbed me all these years. The two important concepts first taught to a Gnostic or an initiate of esoteric belief system.

  1. The concept of cosmic fatalism - The belief that no matter what we do, we are part of a larger cosmic plan over which we have no control.
  2. The world is inherently evil - The belief that the world is in control of evil archons who unleash all kinds of trouble and evil on humanity.
Both of these conceptions are very very disturbing and there is no way to deny the above two truths. The concept of cosmic fatalism can be proved using astrology and prophecy. When I was a teenager I was watching the videos of Chuck Missler from the Koinonia house about the Gog and Magog invasion and he rightly identified Gog and Magog with the Russian federation and its allies. Today as I write 5 (actually 6 if you include Pluto as well) planets are in conjunction on the sign of Capricorn and many Indian astrologers on YouTube indeed predicted the beginning of a world war, days and months before the war even started. Remember what Putin is saying, "Russia had no choice." The war was inevitable. No matter whether the west and rest of the world likes it or not the invasion of Ukraine was fixed in the stars. (Where was the west when the Ukrainian regime was committing genocide in the Donetsk region? Where was Elon Musk? Putin is not lying. Watch the Russia Today TV channel and west please stop putting bans on the Russia Today TV channel. The Ukrainian regime has killed innocent children in the Donetsk region and now the current Ukrainian regime is receiving the same treatment which they gave to innocent children for 8 continuous years and they truly deserve it.)

The point I am trying to convey here is that all the events in this world are predetermined and fated and no power on this earth can prevent or stop the evil planets from doing what they have to do. I am going to write more on astrology and cosmic fatalism in my future posts. My entire life, in fact all the events in my life is happening and has happened according to the calculations and predictions of astrology. According to Zurvanism the whole of humanity's fate has been predestined. There is no escape from this prison or the cave of Mithras.

What do we do now? To which God do we offer our prayers and sacrifices? Who can give us salvation? How do we escape from this evil cosmic fatalism? The answer is there is no way, the only way is that Chronus (The God of Time) and his wife Ananke (The Goddess of Fate) need to give approval to release you from this cosmic fatalism until then you are a prisoner of the cave. Some say rituals and prayers give us salvation through providence but isn't providence in direct conflict with the concept of Cosmic fatalism? If the supreme God and Goddess does not give you the approval then no matter what you will not be able to perform any rituals let alone receive salvation through it.

Please remember that the supreme God does not provide you redemption just because you have done something good in the past, No. You may have murdered many people in the past but God can still choose you and provide salvation to you. This is the concept of unmerited Grace which the Apostle Paul was preaching all along. "Who are you to question God?" asks Saint Paul. This is the bitter truth. Our salvation is not in our hands.

If this is the truth then how should we lead our lives? What morals should we imbibe? Should we lead a life of righteousness or unrighteousness? If everything is predetermined including all our characters and morals then none of the above things makes sense. The only thing that makes sense is to escape from this cosmic fatalism and attain freedom and immortality and this is possible only if God gives you the approval to release you from this prison. I am in a crisis of faith.

The Legacy of J.B. Lightfoot

In my about me section I have referenced a work from J.B Lightfoot where he explains about the 'Meaning of the word Pleroma'. Now many would think I must be a fool to reference the work of J.B. Lightfoot (who was a Catholic) when he has vehemently criticized the Gnostics and the Valentinians in the same work.

The Legacy of J.B. Lightfoot speaks for itself (See below Video). This is the reason why I have referenced the work of J.B. Lightfoot even though he criticizes the Valentinians and disagrees with them in the same text. The reason being the way he was able to articulate about the meaning of the word Pleroma. At least, J.B. Lightfoot had the sympathy to explain about his opponents view point and did some justice and gave benefit of doubt to Valentinus. J.B. Lightfoot deserves respect and I do respect him for his works.

Also, a person's birth place, cultural milieu during his birth time, his upbringing does influence what views and beliefs one will adhere onto in their life. For example: Majority of Gods worshipped by Hindus are not mentioned in the Vedas and yet I do have to worship them for the sake of my families and relatives. Who knows what would have been J.B Lightfoot's views if Valentinus had become the first bishop of Rome.

What are we supposed to do other than referencing the works from our detractors when you (Orthodox Christians) guys have persecuted us (Valentinians)? At least I have not referenced a work from Irenaeus or Tertullian.

The Problem of Evil in Zurvanism and Hinduism

Zurvan willed to have a son and sacrificed for nine hundred and ninety nine years but nothing happened and he started to doubt the efficacy of his sacrifice and the moment this thought arises in his mind an egg will come into existence and to his surprise the egg or the womb contains a twin. One of them is Ohrmazd, the good god who is the result of his sacrifice and another one was Ahriman who is the result of his doubt on the efficacy of his sacrifice.

Isn't the tendency to doubt a common nature of human beings? I think this nature has come down to us from our Father Zurvan. Even I used to offer sacrifices to the Savitr God, twice a day, once in the morning and in the evening for one whole year and I started doubting these sacrifices. I thought what knowledge have I gained by doing this for one whole year? After these thoughts came to mind unfortunately I fell unconscious forward in the morning and backward in the evening while I was doing sun salutations. Isn't this tendency to doubt things a common nature of human beings? Now you can imagine how Zurvan might have felt after sacrificing for nine hundred and ninety nine years, day after day and yet nothing happened. This is the reason why Zurvan said this to his son, Ohrmazd, "Up until now I have offered sacrifices to you and now you will sacrifice to me".

The intention of God was indeed to create a perfect world with no suffering and evil but he messed up big time with his experiment and this resulted in a world with both good and evil. Its like the gain of function experiments, though the intention is to do something good for the world but if things go wrong then the same gain of function can create havoc in the entire world and what better example than the gain of function experiments on Corona Viruses.

Hinduism has no concept of devil and all events are attributed as fate by God. How can rape and murder be part of the divine plan? How can you convince a women that something better is in store for her when she is brutally raped by someone and this is all part of the divine plan? If we have to believe that she got raped for something she did in her previous lives then why the hell God is not showing what we have done in our previous lives? Why is that hidden? How are we supposed to learn from our mistakes in previous lives if we are not even aware of why we are suffering in this life? This whole theory of karma sucks. For people like me who believe we have no free will whatsoever it makes no sense whatsoever. Foolish Hindus whenever something bad happens to them think that either its because of their past karma or its all part of the divine plan. This is where Gnosticism and Zurvanism wins me completely because it accepts the fact that something is wrong with the world through life experience. Both of the religions, Gnosticism and Zurvanism have the courage and the heart to accept the fact that even God is not perfect and he too is an emotional being who is vulnerable to fallibility.

Yes, the planets do influence us but as long as we will be victims of these planets we can never ever be free but mere slaves of Ahriman, the evil one. According to Zurvanism, the 9 planets are commanders of Ahriman and the 12 Zodiac signs are commanders of Ohrmazd and whatever goodness the 12 commanders shed on earth, Ahriman and his commanders distribute it unevenly by doing good things to evil people and by doing evil things to good people. (This explains the fact that why Good people usually undergo a lot of suffering in their life)

Some people ask why God is allowing evil in the world and does not try to prevent evil if he is so great and worthy of worship. The reason is God has allowed Ahriman to rule the world as he wish for 9000 years as God promised that whoever comes out of the womb first will make him a king and Ahriman did came out first as he was/is more smarter than Ohrmazd.

So now the big question is how do we break free from the influence of these evil planets because as long as we are in the bondage of these planets no matter what good we do in life these planets will make us suffer when time is bad for us.

Both Ahriman and Ohrmazd are inside every human being but we should neither strive to do good nor evil but instead worship Zurvan so that he delivers us from the bondage of Ahriman and Ohrmazd and lead us towards freedom and immortality.

You cannot change this world which is inherently evil and is controlled by evil gods and the only way is to be in the world performing your duties and yet remain neutral to the events in the world. You have to become the Purushottama of Bhagvad Gita.

The goal of our life should be to neither do good nor evil but to remain neutral and attain freedom and immortality by worshipping Zurvan before death arrives. If you do not attain immortality with in your lifetime then again you will die and born and again Ahriman will enslave you and you can never be free.

Hindus should open their eyes and try to study other religions and cultures and not just whine about how great their religion is. Hindus don’t even study their own scriptures and do we have to think that they are going to study other cultures and religions, just forget about it. Just by celebrating a few festivals here and there and by following a few customs will not make God happy. God wants you to return to him.

Only at death you will realize that none of this belongs to you, your wife, your daughter and son, your wealth, your fame, your power, none of these belongs to you. This whole world is for the enjoyment of Gods and Demons. This is their playground. The smart thing to do is not to get too carried away by good and evil. Gods use us like pawns to get their work done and dump you once their work is finished. Foolish human beings think that they have achieved all this by themselves.

Now an Atheist might say that this post is a rant and say how can a human being with at least two functional neurons can believe in this non-sense. Well, its definitely not non-sense, its based on my life experience and it makes perfect sense with all the evil events happening around the world.

Zurvanism - The Infinite Time - The Ultimate Theory of Everything

The world has changed a lot since my last post in this blog. Isn't it? I am glad to be alive and safe amidst this pandemic. Time changes everything. The whole world is controlled by Time.

Few years back I made a blog post with the Title "God is both a murderer and a Savior" and I am not the only one who have come to that conclusion and I have lots of company with me. Here is one, please read, "Time as God and Devil" published in the comparative religion column in the University of Manchester

Unlike the Christian God who is an Omnipotent, Omniscient and an Omnibenevolent anthropomorphic being, the God of the Historical Indo-Persian religion was a neutral God with no passions towards Good or Evil and as everyone knows this concept of God resolves all paradoxes like the Problem of Evil.

But wait, is such a God worthy of worship? What good is a God if he is not able to protect a woman when few evil men are raping her and trying to insert a rod into her vaginal hollow. My heart shivers by just hearing those words (This is what is happening in India right now). How can Stoic philosophers defend this? Well, some introduce the concept of bad karma and defend events like this by saying she is suffering now because of some bad karma in the past. This is complete bullshit when everything is pre-determined and fore-ordained by God there is no such thing as bad karma or good karma and for all of your kind information everything in this world is happening according to the will of the Father (God).

So then why God created us and letting us to suffer like this? what wrong have we done? The answer is God has created everyone in his own image and he is expecting us to become like him instead of we trying to fix the evil world which is impossible to do because evil will exist as long as ignorance exist and ignorance will always exist because not everyone have the same intellect to comprehend the divine at any point in time, they have to be educated or in other words initiated into the mysteries. So rather than blaming God I would rather blame ourselves for the current state of our world.

We as Homo Sapiens have let ourselves down by not trying to acknowledge this Cosmic fatalism and instead of trying to escape from this evil world and become like God what we have tried instead is to find ways of establishing rules and order in a chaotic evil world and mindlessly competing in the world in the vain hope that we can control this world and lead a blissful life without God. All this evil and suffering will not end unless and until every living being in this cosmos become like God. When you are living with a mind and soul detached from your body what evil in this world will affect your blissful state? This is why God created us in his own image so that we all can become like him and finally rest with him.

Most religious people including myself believe in a God because it offers ever lasting life or in other words it offers immortality and if you want to live forever then you need a time which doesn't end or kind of Infinite Time. For example Mithras Liturgy is a ritual performed by the initiate to receive immortality from Helios Mithras.

There is one forgotten religion where this concept of Infinite Time and Cosmic Fatalism was unequivocally expressed in their religious thought and that religion is Zurvanism which challenged the religion of Zoroaster which originated at a later time. Zurvanites believed in a superior God named Zurvan who was the father of both the good God Ahura Mazda and the evil god Ahriman.

Zurvanism - The Religion of Zurvan, the God of Infinite Time and Space

"The twelve Signs of the Zodiac... are the twelve commanders on the side of Ohrmazd, and the seven planets are said to be the seven commanders on the side of Ahriman. And the seven planets oppress all creation and deliver it over to death and all manner of evil: for the twelve Signs of the Zodiac and the seven planets rule the fate of the world and direct it".

So according to them in astrology all the planets are evil and all the Zodiac signs are good. The reason why Jupiter being a planet gives good results is that the Zodiac commander who is associated with Jupiter is far superior to him and hence the Zodiac commander subdues the evilness of Jupiter.

The idea of Cosmic fatalism is very well expressed by Zurvanites using statements like below.

"Though [one be armed] with the valour and strength of wisdom and knowledge, yet it is not possible to strive against fate. For once a thing is fated and comes true, whether for good or the reverse, the wise man goes astray in his work, and the man of wrong knowledge becomes clever at his work; the coward becomes brave, and the brave man becomes cowardly; the energetic man becomes a sluggard, and the sluggard energetic: for, for everything that has been fated, a fit occasion arises which sweeps away all other things. [So too] when fate helps a slothful, wrong-minded, and evil man, his sloth becomes like energy, and his wrong-mindedness like wisdom, and his evil like good: and when fate opposes a wise, decent, and good man, his wisdom is turned to unwisdom and foolishness, his decency to wrong-mindedness; and his knowledge, manliness, and decency appear of no account."

Some of the Zurvanites even refrained from doing any good deeds.

"Different [from the atheists proper],' he says, 'are the atheists called Dahris. They give up their religious duties and make no effort to practise virtue: [rather] they indulge in endless discussion....They believe that Infinite Time is the first Principle of this world and of all the various changes and [re-]groupings to which its members and organs are subject as well as of the mutual opposition that exists between them and of their fusion with one another. [They believe too] that virtue goes unrewarded, that there is no punishment for sin, that heaven and hell do not exist, and that there is no one who has charge of [the rewarding of] virtue and [the punishment of] sin. [They believe too] that all things are material and that the spiritual does not exist."

Time has been elusive to physicists as well. Most of the equations in Physics are deterministic and time reversible i.e. according to the mathematical equations there is nothing preventing the water to flow uphill or for a broken glass to join back together. Yet our observations shows that only one of the processes happen by its own and the reversible process require some energy from an external system. This is due to the second law of thermodynamics which prevents entropy to decrease in a closed system. Physicists are still puzzled as to why such an arrow of time exists. We also have the psychological arrow of time where we can only remember our past memories but forever ignorant of our future timelines. Therefore physicists like Lee Smolin and Sean Carroll have come to the realization that physicists should start treating Time as a real entity rather than as an illusion.

Lee Smolin's Time Reborn

Sean Carroll: Why Does Time Exists

How or Why entropy was so low at the time of Big Bang?

Sean Carroll was joking that "May be the universe comes out of a universal chicken". Well, to the Greek Orphic and the Indo-Persian religion this is not a joke because according to them the universe did came into existence from a cosmic egg. According to the Orphics, Phanes originated from the cosmic egg and created the heavens and the earth including all other beings and similarly according to the Indo-Persian religion, Hiranyagarbha the golden embryo created all the creatures. But wait how did this egg came into existence in the first place? Doesn't this resort into the classical which came first, the chicken or the egg paradox? This is where the concept of Infinite Time comes into picture because according to the Greek tradition it was Chronos, the God of Time who created the cosmic egg from where Phanes originated in the first place. But wait, Who created Chronos?  Well, there is no one above him, according to the Orphic tradition he was self created which (although there are other legends which says that Uranus and Gaia created Chronos) shows that Time is the ultimate reality.

KHRONOS (Chronos) was the primordial god of time. In the Orphic cosmogony he emerged self-formed at the dawn of creation. Khronos was envisaged as an incorporeal god, serpentine in form, with three heads--that of a man, a bull, and a lion. He and his consort, the serpentine goddess Ananke (Inevitability), enveloped the primordial world-egg in their coils and split it apart to form the ordered universe of earth, sea and sky. After this act of creation the couple circled the cosmos driving the rotation of heaven and the eternal passage of time.

The figure of Khronos was essentially a cosmological double of the Titan Kronos (Cronus) ("Father Time"). The Orphics sometimes merged Khronos with the creator-god Phanes, and also equated him with the Titan Ophion. His equivalent in the Phoenician cosmogony was probably Olam (Eternal Time) whose name is written Oulomos in Greek transcripts.

Below depiction shows a comparative religious idea across different cultures.

Chronos ~ ~ Zurvan ~ ~ Savitr ~ ~ Infinite Time

Hiranyagrabha ~ ~ Phanes ~ ~ Ahura Mazda ~ ~ Demiurge ~ ~ Finite Time ~ ~ Good

Danavas ~ ~ Yatudhanas ~ ~ Ahriman ~ ~ Archons ~ ~ Finite Time ~ ~ Evil

Super-determinism is still one of the unclosed loopholes of the Bell's Theorem and one of the possible solutions to the enigmas of Quantum Mechanics. Therefore Quantum physicists like Sabine Hossenfelder and Gerard 't Hooft are working towards a super-deterministic theory of Quantum Mechanics.

The grace of God

Is there anything more greater in this world other than the grace of god?
“I found that whatever truth I had read [in the Platonists] was [in the writings of Paul] combined with the exaltation of thy grace.”
           - Saint Augustine

The teachings of Paul of Tarsus was ground breaking at that time and they are still earth shaking transformational ideas for this modern age. The truth that our salvation is not in our hands and that we are saved not by doing good deeds but by a predestined election by God.

Most people do not realize that these teachings are very similar to the karma yoga of Bhagvad Gita where in it states that we should not expect the fruits of our actions because work has been given free to us and it is God himself who is stimulating our thoughts and doing all the works in the world. So where then is boasting? When we are not even the doer of our actions then why should we expect to receive the fruits of those actions? The glory of our works and achievements should go to God because it is he who is in everyone and doing all the activities of the cosmos.

We are no where in this world picture. Ego is God who controls the intellect and our thoughts. The intellect controls the mind and the mind controls the brain and the brain controls the body. That's how the flow of action is. Where am I in this world picture? Who am I? The I is the soul who passively experiences these playful activities of the gods. The only way to escape from this mortal world is through the grace of God. He has to give permission and let you go. You cannot win that grace of god by doing charity and other good deeds. No amount of good deeds will ensure a place in heaven and immortality for you. This is the bitter truth.

I for one have experienced the grace of god working through out my life and I consider myself very lucky to have received this knowledge and all the pleasures of the world from him. I must say right from my childhood up until now I have led a life without any hardship. My grand father was a police man and he used to bring me whatever I asked for whether its toys, cars, pigeons or German Shepherds etc and by the time when my cousins were born he was happily retired a privilege which they didn't enjoy. I never knew about Valentinus but god introduced his works to me. We never thought we would be building such a big house but it turned out to be such. Its as though I was predestined to know it and have it. The end goal of all these teachings is to take us away from the life of birth and death towards the immortality of the soul which is what we call as redemption.

Evil is an emergent property of the cosmos

God did not intend to create evil. It was not in his mind to make us suffer in this world. God held our perfection with in himself when he created the cosmos and wanted to give back the perfection to us when we returned to him out of love. This ignorance of the Father (imperfection) gave rise to evil and suffering in this world which was an emergent property of system due to the design choice made by God. The origin of evil was in a way inevitable.

People started hurting others and participated in sinful acts because they had no knowledge of from whither they have come and whither they are going. This is the state of affairs in the world as we know it from the Gospel of Truth. Now what do we do? How can we proclaim our perfection back? How can we get back our lost identity? Well, the fact of the matter is God did not gave us free will, you might do lots of charity, help the poor and the diseased, feed hungry people and do all kinds of good things and yet there is no guarantee that God will save you and send you to heaven. You might still end up in hell even after leading a righteous pure life. Why? It is because God saves you not based on works of the Law but based on unmerited grace. He saves us because he loves us, period. Nothing less nothing more.

Rather than saying God's grace is arbitrary you need to the see the world from the viewpoint of God. The truth is we are all souls with each one having the full potential within us to become the Holy Father, we are the Holy spirit, that's our true identity. Once you know this you cannot hate God for what he has in store for us. He(God) can do anything with yourself and with this world because none of the things in this world are yours, it is his body and his world and he has full authority over it, one of the reason why the Gospel of John says do not love this world nor the things in this world, the lust of the eyes and the prideful way of life is not from the Father but is from the world, the world is a passing by but one who does the will of the father will live forever or will obtain immortality.

You cannot bribe God's grace by trying to please him by doing good deeds, you cannot earn God's grace no matter what you do, there is no way through which you can earn God's grace, the grace from God should come to you all by itself. The only way now for us is to love the Father unconditionally (because that's what he wants from us) and not turn away from him or blame him when he gives us hardships instead see those difficult times as a testing period and hope that one day he will release our soul from this world and gives back our true identity which we all deserve.

Isaiah 45:7 - I make peace, and create evil

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
-Isaiah 45:7
I have long argued that God is both a murderer and a savior. Check out this post ---| http://my-waking-dream.blogspot.in/2015/11/god-is-both-murderer-and-saviour.html

Jehovah, the god of the Jews is absolutely correct here. God creates both good and evil as he himself admitted. Now I am a Valentinian gnostic and not a Marcionite to use the above verse as an evidence to prove that the god of the Jews was an evil god. We Valentinians respect the God of the Jews in believing that he is almost equivalent with the Holy Father in the Pleroma but he is just a lesser ignorant being than the beings in the Pleroma which resides above him.

Evil was created in the cosmos when the Holy Father in the above Pleroma made the choice to with hold the perfection of the Aeons with in himself. The Holy Father did not created us as perfect beings instead he created us with imperfection. There is no flaw in us but instead there is an inherent flaw in the very creation itself. The Holy Father in the Pleroma allowed evil to originate into existence when he decided to create us as ignorant beings. Evil exists as long as the ignorance of the father exists. Why did God created an imperfect world with imperfect beings? It is because he wants us to love him and he will give us back our perfection in return of returning to him out of love and humility. But, hey, how can he expect us to love him when he has not given any freedom whatsoever to make our own choices? No matter how much righteous you are and how much you consciously refuse to sin, God could always manipulate you and push you towards evil and make you sin and finally deny a place in the heaven which you longed for so much. God can elect anyone and reject anyone based on his personal whim. Saint Paul has advised us not to judge God's actions and choices. Where does this leave us? We have to lead our lives as slaves of God and be a part of his grand plan and blindly hope that one day God is going to free us from our bondage?

Descent, Search and Ascent - A common theme in mystery religions

"Because of this element of secrecy, we are ill-informed as to the beliefs and practices of the various mystery faiths. We know that they had a general likeness to one another".
- Ernest William Barnes

Eleusinian mysteries

This is the mystery of mother Demeter and her daughter Persephone who descends to the underworld and her mother Demeter sincerely searches for her daughter and finally she ascends to earth to live with her mother which returns joy, happiness and fertility.

The above myth is nothing but the descend of the soul into this world, searching and suffering of the soul in this world and finally ascension of the soul through the Eleusinian ritual practices. Eleusinianism is the most ancient of the mysteries which was followed by Greeks from time immemorial and was open to everyone for initiation.

Orphic mysteries

Orphics believed that man was made up of an immortal soul which was in bondage with a material body. They established the hierarchy and the origin of the intellectual and the intelligible gods with Zeus or Jupiter as the Demiurgus who fashions the souls of man and seeds it on earth which formed the descent.

Orphism explained the origin of the cosmos through Phanes who originated from the cosmic egg and possessed all the gods in his womb.

"O Mighty first-begotten [Protogonos], hear my pray'r, two-fold, egg-born, and wand'ring thro' the air, Bull-roarer, glorying in thy golden wings, from whom the race of Gods and mortals springs. Ericapæus [Erikapaios], celebrated pow'r, ineffable, occult, all shining flow'r. From eyes obscure thou wip'st the gloom of night, all-spreading splendour, pure and holy light. Hence Phanes call'd, the glory of the sky, on waving pinions thro' the world you fly.  Priapus, dark-ey'd splendour, thee I sing, genial, all-prudent, ever-blessed king, With joyful aspect on our rights divine and holy sacrifice propitious shine."
- To the Protogonus, the first-born, Orphic Hymns

Pythagorus and Plato were heavily influenced by the Orphic mysteries and his philosophy was completely based on the Orphic mysteries.

Through their Dionysian rituals they searched for the divine spark in them and ascended to heavens.

Mithraic mysteries

Even the mithraic mysteries was based descend and ascension of the soul which was very well depicted in the main iconography of their mysteries, the tauroctony. Mithras Liturgy is a ritual practice where the magician ascends to the solar world passing through various gates in the above heavens and finally meets the supreme Godhead of the cosmos King Helios-Aion-Mithras and receives immortality from him.

Cautes and Cautopates holding the torch downwards (descend) and upwards (ascension)
Porphyry has more on the subject.
"Caves, therefore, in the most remote periods of antiquity were consecrated to the Gods, before temples were erected to them. Hence, the Curetes in Crete dedicated a cavern to Jupiter; in Arcadia, a cave was sacred to the Moon, and to Lycean Pan; and in Naxus, to Bacchus. But wherever Mithra was known, they propitiated the God in a cavern. With respect, however, to the Ithacensian cave, Homer was not satisfied with saying that it had two gates, but adds that one of the gates was turned towards the north, but the other which was more divine, to the south. He also says that the northern gate was pervious to descent, but does not indicate whether this was also the case with the southern gate. For of this, he only says, "It is inaccessible to men, but it is the path of the immortals."
........Theologists therefore assert, that_these two gates are Cancer and Capricorn; but Plato calls them entrances. And of these, theologists say, that Cancer is the gate through which souls descend; but Capricorn that through which they ascend. Cancer is indeed northern, and adapted to descent; but Capricorn is southern, and adapted to ascent (note 12). The northern parts, likewise, pertain to souls descending into generation. And the gates of the cavern which are turned to the north are rightly said to be pervious to the descent of men; but the southern gates are not the avenues of the Gods, but of souls ascending to the Gods. On this account, the poet does not say that they are the avenues of the Gods, but of immortals; this appellation being also common to our souls, which are per se, or essentially, immortal.
It is said that Parmenides mentions these two gates in his treatise "On the Nature of Things", as likewise that they are not unknown to the Romans and Egyptians. For the Romans celebrate their Saturnalia when the Sun is in Capricorn, and during this festivity, slaves wear the shoes of those that are free, and all things are distributed among them in common; the legislator obscurely signifying by this ceremony that through this gate of the heavens, those who are now born slaves will be liberated through the Saturnian festival, and the house attributed to Saturn, i.e., Capricorn, when they live again and return to the fountain of life. Since, however, the path from Capricorn is adapted to ascent, hence the Romans denominate that month in which the Sun, turning from Capricorn to the east, directs his course to the north, Januanus, or January, from janua, a gate.
- Porphyry on the Cave of the Nymphs

Chaldean (Persian-Babylonian) mysteries

The Chaldean oracles teaches us that there is a solar world which we have to inevitably ascend in order to receive the immortality of the soul. Proclus has more on this subject.

"On this account, it appears to me that Plato delivers a twofold generation of the Sun; one indeed, in conjunction with the seven governors of the world, when he fashions the bodies of them, and inserts them in circulations; but the other according to the enkindling of light, through which he imparts to the Sun supermundane power. For it is one thing to generate the bulk of the Sun itself by itself, and another in conjunction with a ruling characteristic, through which the Sun is called the king of every visible nature, and is established analogous to the one fountain of good. For as this fountain, being better than the intelligible essence, illuminates both intellect and the intelligible, thus also the sun being better than a visible nature, illuminate both that which is visible and sight. But if the Sun is beyond a visible essence, it will have a supermundane nature. For the world is visible and tangible, and has a body. Hence, we must survey the Sun in a twofold respect; viz. as one of the seven planets, and as the leader of wholes; and as mundane and supermundane, according to the latter of which he splendidly emits a divine light. For in the same manner as The Good luminously emits truth which deifies the intelligible and intellectual order; as Phanes in Orpheus sends forth intelligible light which fills with intelligence all the intellectual Gods; and as Jupiter enkindles an intellectual and demiurgic light in all the supermundane Gods; thus also the Sun illuminates every thing visible through this undefiled light. The illuminating cause too is always in an order superior to the illuminated natures. For neither is The Good intelligible, nor Phanes intellectual, nor Jupiter supermundane. In consequence of this reasoning therefore, the Sun being supermundane emits the fountains of light. And according to the most mystic doctrines, the wholeness of the Sun is in the supermundane orders; for in them there is a solar world, and a total light, as the Chaldean Oracles assert, and which I am persuaded is true. And thus much concerning these things."
- Proclus on the Timaeus of Plato

Pauline mysteries (greatest mystery of all mysteries)

The great Paul of Tarsus echoed the same views in his epistles which was very well understood by the greatest mystic of all time, Valentinus, a gnostic for all seasons, the only one from the western esoteric tradition who had the correct conception of divine and having a mind and vision greater in magnitude than Plato or Iamblichus. Valentinus showed his pneumatic charisma in his seminal work 'The Gospel of Truth' which is the greatest of all the historical mysteries put together.

Gospel of Truth begins by stating the most beautiful truth of all truths that the Father held the perfection of the Aeons within himself, the fact that he deliberately created beings in an ignorant state expecting them to return to him out of love. This ignorance of the knowledge (gnosis) of the Father was the root cause for the origin of this world and all the evil which resides in it.

"And as for him, them he found in himself, and him they found in themselves, that illimitable, inconceivable one, that perfect Father who made the all, in whom the All is, and whom the All lacks, since he retained in himself their perfection, which he had not given to the all. The Father was not jealous. What jealousy, indeed, is there between him and his members? For, even if the Aeon had received their perfection, they would not have been able to approach the perfection of the Father, because he retained their perfection in himself, giving it to them as a way to return to him and as a knowledge unique in perfection. He is the one who set the All in order and in whom the All existed and whom the All lacked. As one of whom some have no knowledge, he desires that they know him and that they love him. For what is it that the All lacked, if not the knowledge of the Father?"
- Gospel of Truth

This error and fog was nothing to the Holy Father as he knew that error and evil does not exists in him although they exist because of him.

"Forgetfulness did not exist with the Father, although it existed because of him. What exists in him is knowledge, which was revealed so that forgetfulness might be destroyed and that they might know the Father, Since forgetfulness existed because they did not know the Father, if they then come to know the Father, from that moment on forgetfulness will cease to exist."
 - Gospel of Truth

The process of descent begins with the emanation of Aeons from the Father.

"It was a great wonder that they were in the Father without knowing him and that they were able to leave on their own, since they were not able to contain him and know him in whom they were, for indeed his will had not come forth from him."
- Gospel of Truth

The search of the Father begins and they find the way through the Saviour - Jesus Christ.

"The Father opens his bosom, but his bosom is the Holy Spirit. He reveals his hidden self which is his son, so that through the compassion of the Father the Aeons may know him, end their wearying search for the Father and rest themselves in him, knowing that this is rest."
- Gospel of Truth

The process of ascent begins with the help of the gnosis of the Father preached by his son Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

"Since the perfection of the All is in the Father, it is necessary for the All to ascend to him. Therefore, if one has knowledge, he gets what belongs to him and draws it to himself. For he who is ignorant, is deficient, and it is a great deficiency, since he lacks that which will make him perfect. Since the perfection of the All is in the Father, it is necessary for the All to ascend to him and for each one to get the things which are his. He registered them first, having prepared them to be given to those who came from him."
- Gospel of Truth

What great teachings these are from Valentinus and we all should be indebted to him in helping us to understand the greatest mystery of divine in such simple poetical form rather than accusing him of plagiarizing from Plato who looks so puny in front of a giant like Valentinus. Valentinus molded the mysteries, he formalized it into a coherent whole and gave us the whole picture. As GRS Mead said very few people could ever appreciate the ideal of the man and much less understand it because for that age he was trying to achieve the impossible.

False portrayal of Aryan religion in Western countries

When I was in Dallas last month I visited the Dallas Museum of Art and I felt very bad when I saw what they had written about Hinduism at the South East Asian Art section. According to them Aryans were nomadic warriors who came down from the northwestern regions who carried horses and chariots with them and these Aryans were in battle with the local Dravidian race who were ethnically black compared to the Aryans. So Hinduism emerged as a by product fusing Vedic religion brought to India by the Aryans and the local religion of the Dravidians.

This absolutely false portrayal of history of India is an huge intellectual dishonesty on the part of the western academia. Its an hidden agenda to make what belonged to us a foreign entity. When you portray something as foreign it completely loses its nativity and hence people start looking at it in an entirely different intellectual sphere and the reason why majority of the Americans are more interested in learning Egyptian culture rather than the Aryan.

"Indo-Aryan Migration into India, c. 1750 B.C. This map shows the general route taken by the Indo-Aryans who migrated into India beginning around 1750 B.C. They were nomadic warriors who came from the Plateau of Iran and moved through the Hindu Kush Mountains into the Indus Valley and beyond to the Ganges Valley. With them they brought bronze weapons, horses, and chariots."
David Frawley is right if we don't question this seriously it will be a self betrayal on our part. When we chant the Vedas it does not look foreign to us it feels as though it is written in our blood. It is the English language and culture which looks so alien and foreign to us.

Cracking the tauroctony symbolism of the mithraic cult

The one thing which made me to scratch my head was the tauroctony symbolism in the mithraic cult. I was aware of David Ulansey's astronomical/astrological interpretation (Mithras and the Hypercosmic Sun) but if taurocotony (which encompasses with in itself the entire main message of the mithraic cult) was just about astrology what was the whole point in keeping this knowledge so secret and why call it a mystery if there were no esoteric secrets embedded in their religion? So just like Roger Beck and others I was not entirely satisfied with Ulansey's astrological interpretation and always thought there was something more to it.

As a sun worshiper and as a follower of Helios-Mithras it was a big embarrassment for me that I was not able to crack the hidden mystery behind the tauroctony owing to its unique artefact among all the sun cult religions of the great antiquity. Therefore I decided to extract more information on the subject.

The one thing which everyone have undermined except G.R.S Mead was Porphyry's knowledge on the mithraic cult. Porphyry, On the Cave of the NymphsI think Porphyry is right tauroctony actually represents the cosmogony of the mithraic cult. Its a map which provides esoteric pathways to heaven and hell from the cave of mithras which is the entire empirical world or earth. One argument of Porphyry which is most convincing is how he interprets the symbolism of Cautes and Cautopates holding the torch downwards and upwards respectively like mirror images of one another.

He also says that the northern gate was |26 pervious to descent, but does not indicate whether this was also the case with the southern gate.

Which makes sense because we have a crab placed near the bull's genitals on the left hand side which represents the northern gate where the souls descend to earth and we all know from astrology that the sign of Cancer which is my birth sign too is represented by a crab and we have a goat placed on the right hand side of the bull which represents the southern Capricorn gate where souls ascend to heaven which is the path of immortals.

Ascension to heaven for the sole sake of achieving immortality is also the main purpose of Mithras liturgy which Meyer Marvin believes belongs to the core tenets of the Mithraic cult and I too believe we should treat this ascension very seriously because even Yajnavalkya who received the fresh portions of the Shukla Yajurveda and the Ishavashya Upanishad from the Sun god, Savitr ascended to heaven and each god starting from god of Earth, god of Water, god of Air, god of Fire, god of Space, god of Sense organs, god of Mind, god of Intellect and finally the god of time whom we call Aion was revealed to him at each of the heavens and only then in the end after the revelation of Aion, Helios-Mithras the ego was revealed to him. Some of the gods also appeared in pairs of syzgies or with their male and female consorts as believed in the Valentinian gnostic sects and is one of the reasons why I believe in Valentinianism so strongly.

The symbols in Tauroctony could mean anything and can be interpreted in any way we want but this interpretation by Porphyry and G.R.S Mead who has shed more light on Porphyry's interpretation (G.R.S Mead, The mysteries of Mithra) seems to be the best esoteric interpretation we have on the subject.

On the passion of the Saviour and the Eucharist

A Valentinian Interpretation of Baptism and Eucharist: And Its Critique of "Orthodox" Sacramental Theology and Practice by Elaine Pagels.

"Jews demand signs and Greeks search for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God." (1 Corinthians 22-24)

I exactly know how the Jews might be feeling in their hearts when Christians tell them that Jesus was their Messiah. The Messiah who was supposed to bring every Jew back to the promised land rebuilding the Jerusalem temple and preaching all the nations about the One God and his commandments is actually found dead on a cross. This is ridiculousness of the highest order, ROFL, laughable beyond control, blasphemy of the highest unpardonable sin, LOL.

As a Gentile I really don't like the idea of a God dying at the hands of the demons, this is the reason why I often quote Basilideans and the Sethians who viewed that it was someone else who died on the cross and that Jesus was actually mocking at the Pharisees sitting on the branch of a tree in not truly recognizing whom they were piercing with.

Well, jokes apart, I am a Valentinian Christian and I take the words of Paul and his followers quite seriously and am sensitive to it. Unlike other gnostic sects Valentinians accepted that Jesus died on the cross, that he was crucified and nailed to the Cross. However they interpret this historical event in a different way compared to the Roman Catholic Church, the above work of Miss Pagels entails just what the difference was.

It seems as though the Saviour wanted to re-enact the whole Valentinian myth on this realm in order to show its significance and taught to keep it as a remembrance for us. The passion of the Saviour actually remembers us the passion of the Sophia in seeking the unknowable Holy Father, the suffering of the Saviour at the hands of the Pharisees remembers us the suffering of Achamoth as to what she went through after she was cast out of the Pleroma and the suffering which each of her seeds had to go through at the hands of the evil archons of the world. The Saviour's crucifixion remembers us the recovery of our lost knowledge through the gnosis of the Holy Father which helps in maturing the seeds here and finally the cross represents the restoration of Achamoth inside the Pleroma and restoration of her spiritual seeds with the bridegrooms of Christ at the wedding marriage feast inside the Pleroma.

In this way the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is actually a re-enaction of the Valentinian myth and of the Demiurge and his psychic believers. I think it is better for the Jews to understand that the rule of Demiurge has ended with the reign of Christ and their god Jehovah himself is actually like the Centurion who ran towards Jesus Christ after knowing who he was and after knowing that Jesus existed before him or else the Jews will continue to suffer if they hold on to their old beliefs.

Anima Mundi - The soul of the Cosmos

"Sol mundi mens est."
"The sun is the mind of the universe."
 - From Macrobius, Saturnalia 1. 19. 9,  Iamblichus, Protrepticus 21, 115; Ammianus Marcellinus, 21. 1. 11.

"sūrya ātmā jaghatastasthuṣaśca || "
"The soul of all that moveth not or moveth, the Sun hath filled the air and earth and heaven."
- From Rig Veda, Book 1, Hymn 115 on Surya.

"ὅτι ἐν αὐτῷ κατοικεῖ πᾶν τὸ πλήρωμα τῆς θεότητος σωματικῶς"
"In Christ dwells all the pleroma of deity in bodily form."
- From Colossians 2:9, Saint Paul of Tarsus.

"...we must declare that this Cosmos has verily come into existence as a Living Creature endowed with soul and reason owing to the providence of God....For that Living Creature embraces and contains within itself all the intelligible Living Creatures, just as this Universe contains us and all the other visible living creatures."
- From Timaeus, Plato (30b-30c).

"It was quite amazing that the Aeons were in the Father and that they were able to emanate in as much as they were not able to perceive and recognize the one in whom they were."
- From Gospel of Truth, Valentinus, a Syrian Christian.

The soul of the cosmos has been identified by various cultures across different timelines through out the history of the human race as you can see above. It is the fundamental belief of the Vedic Aryans that Savitr, the golden tongued Sun god exists in every Pindanda (womb or living creature or microcosm) and as well in Brahmanda (cosmos or the universe). Vedantic scholars and followers have misled people from understanding the true philosophy of the Vedas and the Upanishads by making it appear more idealistic or solipsistic or subjective by using the words like "within", "inner cleansing" etc etc.

Molecular biology has shown that there is no god or soul with in us or inside us and we will not find anything not matter how much we dig deep with in ourselves. We have to abandon such subjective usage of terminologies in favor of Realism. When Vedic and Upanishadic seers use such words they are merely talking of a physically localized another platonic realm altogether. So in order to attain the truth we have to look above us or behind us and not with in us.

When the revelation of God occurs at your own place then it is in the microcosm where you will see the God because he exists behind every living creature and he is the one who is stimulating the intellect standing behind it. Now when the revelation of God occurs through an apocalypse like when Paul says in Corinthians that I know a man who was caught up in the third heaven with his body or without god knows or the ascension to heavens described in texts like Mithras Liturgy then it is in the macrocosm where you will see the same god. In this way God has entered into every living creature and contains with in himself all the living creatures like a ship.

How do we visualize such a grandiose design of the cosmos? One bad analogy would be to consider yourself or your bodily form as the all encompassing living creature. Now the individual hairs over your body will themselves be one whole Pleromas but each individual hair is blinded by its own small world and is not aware of in whom they actually exist (meaning your body). Moreover each individual hair thinks and believes that it has a separate distinct individuality of its own and believes that it acts according to its own will without realizing the fact that each one of them posses the entire blue print (genome) to generate the whole body which they themselves are part of.

In the actual solar world of Helios-Mithras his body is formed of divine light rays and one can retell the same analogy replacing "hairs" with "divine light rays". Each individual light ray on his body is a pleroma by itself and the Aeon which is the manifestation of the light ray is actually an anthropomorphic god but the Aeons do not actually know that they exist inside the Father. The Father replicated himself and entered inside each of these Aeons so that they can seek him at their own places at the time when they want to return to him out of love.

So the actual truth is that we all are just light rays who exist inside the body of God. Since we are trying to visualize the cosmos from the perspective of the God its getting difficult for us to imagine such an alternative view as we are so accustomed to view the world as it is constructively given to us by our minds.

The Holy Father and the Holy Mother generated the Aeons and the last of the Aeon named Sophia generated Achamoth and Achamoth in turn generated the souls (light rays) of human beings out of joy when she saw Christ descending from the above Pleroma to save Achamoth but these souls or light rays were immature and could not be part of the body of the Holy Father which constitutes the Pleroma and therefore Christ ordered Achamoth to bring forth the Demiurge Jehovah, the god of the Jews so that he can create the heavens and the earth and create a man and an woman in the image of the above Pleroma so that the man and the woman could commune and have intercourse in order to produce a house or a place for the souls of Achamoth to reside themselves and that house or place of residence is none other than the fetus which is growing inside the womb of every mother so that the soul can easily enter into the fetus of a mother for the sole purpose of maturing itself and finally return to the Pleroma.

Every light ray constitutes the following elements earth, air, fire, water and space which forms the subtle body and the sense organs of the soul, a mind to perceive, a soul to experience the world, an intellect to reason and to search for truth and finally behind that intellect the replicated Holy Father himself. The soul which experiences the world as self consciousness is who we all are which is merely nothing but a light ray.

This is the grand design of our cosmos but where does Non-duality come into picture here? The replicated Holy Father or God is none other than our ego, God is the ego and it is he himself who is responsible for every event which is occurring in the cosmos. The spirited soul enslaved itself by matter is merely a puppet which sits and experiences the world played by the ego who is none other than God himself but unlike an evil demon trying to hoax us into believing in the reality of the world and keep us onto eternal slavery our God is a good god for he has given us freedom and immortality by showing us the truth that the soul of God is no different from the soul of each human being, the revelation which I had that the prana or the elan vital or the soul or myself is Jesus, Buddha, Mithras, Helios and just about everything and including nothing, the place of non-duality. We don't know this because we identify ourselves with the physical containers or with the cloth (bodies) en-covering the soul rather than identifying ourselves with the soul itself. We all are suffering from an identity crisis and it requires the gnosis of the Holy Father preached by Jesus Christ and his great apostle Saint Paul to get over it.

Five compromises which transformed Christianity into a world beater

With out the efforts of Saint Paul Christianity today would have ended up just like an another sect of Judaism confined only to a small state something like Israel. If not for the charismatic envision of Paul and his acquaintance with the Gentiles, in fully understanding the mindsets of the Gentiles, in clearly knowing what they like and what they don't, I'm afraid with out Paul it would have been impossible for the other apostles of Jesus to gain Gentile converts.

1. Gentile converts need not have to follow the Laws of the Old Testament.

No Gentile would have converted to Christianity if Christians had enforced strict Jewish Laws on the Gentile souls because the whole concept of a divine law which human beings have to strictly follow to avoid a God's wrath was an alien concept to them and they would have never liked it at all.

2. Gentile converts need not have to undergo circumcision.

If the Jewish Christians just like Saint Peter had insisted that even Gentiles must undergo circumcision in order to become Christians I am sure Gentiles would have distanced themselves from Christianity.

3. Heavenly redemption by ascension

Every Gentiles eyes and ears would have lit up when Paul says this in Corinthians because Gentiles loved apocalyptic literature and ascension to various heavens.

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago-- whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows-- such a man was caught up to the third heaven. (2 Corinthians 12:2)

4. Christianity as a mystery religion.

Gentiles loved those religions having a mystery surrounding them and many Gentiles of that time were initiated into Dionysian, Orphic, Eleusinian, Osiris and Mithraic mysteries. Paul by transforming the human Jesus into a heavenly father preached his Gospel with a salvation theme similar to the mystery religions and guess what Gentiles loved his Gospel more than anything else.

5. Jesus as the first born God.

No Gentile would have worshiped a human as God or in other words no Gentile would have worshiped Jesus if he was just a human being without giving salvation to the Gentiles in return no matter how divine his parables were or no matter what miracles he made. Paul very well knew this hence he established Jesus as the first born God just as the pagan sun god Helios-Mithras.

One can see that in all the five points which led to the success of Christianity Paul's influence is punched on every one of them.

Empirical evidence of human body levitation

This is one of the yogic powers mentioned in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

3.40 By the mastery over udana, the upward flowing prana vayu, there is a cessation of contact with mud, water, thorns, and other such objects, and there ensues the rising or levitation of the body.
(udana jayat jala panka kantaka adisu asangah utkrantih cha)

Atheists will continue to be skeptical about the existence of the supernatural despite numerous empirical evidences like this and they will convert to theism once they experience the supernatural all by themselves.

Even Saint Teresa of Avila was lifted from the ground.

"A rapture is absolutely irresistible; whilst union, inasmuch as we are then on our own ground, may be hindered, though that resistance be painful and violent; it is, however, almost always impossible. But rapture, for the most part, is irresistible. It comes, in general, as a shock, quick and sharp, before you can collect your thoughts, or help yourself in any way, and you see and feel it as a cloud, or a strong eagle rising upwards, and carrying you away on its wings.
I repeat it: you feel and see yourself carried away, you know not whither. For though we feel how delicious it is, yet the weakness of our nature makes us afraid at first, and we require a much more resolute and courageous spirit than in the previous states, in order to risk everything, come what may, and to abandon ourselves into the hands of God, and go willingly whither we are carried, seeing that we must be carried away, however painful it may be; and so trying is it, that I would very often resist, and exert all my strength, particularly at those times when the rapture was coming on me in public. I did so, too, very often when I was alone, because I was afraid of delusions. Occasionally I was able, by great efforts, to make a slight resistance; but afterwards I was worn out, like a person who had been contending with a strong giant; at other times it was impossible to resist at all: my soul was carried away, and almost always my head with it,—I had no power over it,—and now and then the whole body as well, so that it was lifted up from the ground.
This has not happened to me often: once, however, it took place when we were all together in choir, and I, on my knees, on the point of communicating. It was a very sore distress to me; for I thought it a most extraordinary thing, and was afraid it would occasion much talk; so I commanded the nuns—for it happened after I was made Prioress—never to speak of it. But at other times, the moment I felt that our Lord was about to repeat the act, and once, in particular, during a sermon,—it was the feast of our house, some great ladies being present,—I threw myself on the ground; then the nuns came around me to hold me; but still the rapture was observed.
I made many supplications to our Lord, that He would be pleased to give me no more of those graces which were outwardly visible; for I was weary of living under such great restraint, and because His Majesty could not bestow such graces on me without their becoming known. It seems that, of His goodness, He has been pleased to hear my prayer; for I have never been enraptured since. It is true that it was not long ago. It seemed to me, when I tried to make some resistance, as if a great force beneath my feet lifted me up. I know of nothing with which to compare it; but it was much more violent than the other spiritual visitations, and I was therefore as one ground to pieces; for it is a great struggle, and, in short, of little use, whenever our Lord so wills it. There is no power against His power.  At other times He is pleased to be satisfied when He makes us see that He is ready to give us this grace, and that it is not He that withholds it. Then, when we resist it out of humility, He produces those very effects which would have resulted if we had fully consented to it.
The effects of rapture are great: one is that the mighty power of our Lord is manifested; and as we are not strong enough, when His Majesty wills it, to control either soul or body, so neither have we any power over it; but, whether we like it or not, we see that there is one mightier than we are, that these graces are His gifts, and that of ourselves we can do nothing whatever; and humility is deeply imprinted in us. And further, I confess that it threw me into great fear, very great indeed at first; for when I saw my body thus lifted up from the earth, how could I help it? Though the spirit draws it upwards after itself, and that with great sweetness, if unresisted, the senses are not lost; at least, I was so much myself as to be able to see that I was being lifted up. The majesty of Him who can effect this so manifests itself, that the hairs of my head stand upright, and a great fear comes upon me of offending God, who is so mighty. This fear is bound up in exceedingly great love, which is acquired anew, and directed to Him, who, we see, bears so great a love to a worm so vile, and who seems not to be satisfied with attracting the soul to Himself in so real a way, but who will have the body also, though it be mortal and of earth so foul, such as it is through our sins, which are so great."

Iamblichus: Taking the Shape of the Gods

Taking the Shape of the Gods: A Theurgic Reading of Hermetic Rebirth

This is an another paper like the earlier one Offering to the Gods: A Neo-platonic perspective which shows the supreme wisdom of the Neo-platonic philosopher Iamblichus and how he defends the art of theurgy.

People often misunderstand theurgy as an irrational shallow practice since they normally do not understand the esoteric perspective behind those practices. But Theurgy and Esotericism being a profession carried out by only elite members of a society possessing special interests is intelligible only to those who have special knowledge.

"Theurgic union is attained only by the perfective operation of unspeakable acts correctly performed, acts which are beyond all understanding, and by the power of unutterable symbols which are intelligible only to the Gods"

Iamblichus, De Mysteriis. 2,11

Catholics should abandon the doctrine of Trinity

This is an another example of the hypocrisy of the Roman Catholic Church. Their utter foolishness in not recognizing that the doctrine of Trinity is a Gnostic doctrine. What kind of an orthodox church chooses a Gnostic doctrine as their foundational belief system and at the same time charge these same Gnostics for heresy when they themselves are believing in a Gnostic doctrine? Are they so blind or the God of this age has made them blind?

Father, Son and the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit here actually represents the feminine goddess. In Valentinianism the Holy Father is androgynous, he is both male and female. In the psychic world the bride of Jesus Christ is Mary Magdalene who represent the Holy Spirit.
"Jesus Christ used to often kiss Mary Magdalene on her mouth."

- Gospel of Philip
How can these three individual distinct persons, the Holy Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit (Sophia) can be one and the same thing? Mary Magdalene was Jesus Christ's companion in the psychic world. Its quite clear that these three persons are distinct individual beings and at the same time they are basically one and the same God. This can only be understood through Valentinian Monism.

Trinity is a disguised form of the doctrine of Emanationism.

The doctrine of Trinity indirectly implies Emanationism. The Father emanated the Son and the Holy Spirit which is in direct opposition to the creationism of Catholicism.

Marcellus of Ancyra warned the church fathers of the Nicene Creed to abandon the doctrine of Trinity as it was a Gnostic heresy.

In the fourth-century, Marcellus of Ancyra declared that the idea of the Godhead existing as three hypostases (hidden spiritual realities) came from Plato through the teachings of Valentinus, who is quoted as teaching that God is three hypostases and three prosopa (persons) called the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit:
"Now with the heresy of the Ariomaniacs, which has corrupted the Church of God... These then teach three hypostases, just as Valentinus the heresiarch first invented in the book entitled by him 'On the Three Natures'. For he was the first to invent three hypostases and three persons of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and he is discovered to have filched this from Hermes and Plato."

Since Valentinus had used the term hypostases, his name came up in the Arian disputes in the fourth century. Marcellus of Ancyra, who was a staunch opponent of Arianism but also denounced the belief in God existing in three hypostases as heretical, and was later condemned for his views, attacked his opponents (On the Holy Church, 9) by linking them to Valentinus:
"Valentinus, the leader of a sect, was the first to devise the notion of three subsistent entities (hypostases), in a work that he entitled On the Three Natures. For, he devised the notion of three subsistent entities and three persons — father, son, and holy spirit."

It should be noted that the Nag Hammadi library Sethian text Trimorphic Protennoia identifies Gnosticism as professing Father, Son and feminine wisdom Sophia or as Professor John D. Turner denotes, God the Father, Sophia the Mother, and Logos the Son.

Muslims are right in accusing Christians for practising Polytheism and Idolatry.

The doctrine of trinity is nothing but Emanationism in a disguised form and there by, by believing in three distinct individual persons and by attributing a feminine companion to God the charge of the Muslims is absolutely right on Christians as it goes entirely against the will of their God Jehovah. We can safely conclude that Jehovah is not representing the Holy Father in the doctrine of Trinity as Saint Paul was a Gnostic and believed in a higher god above him who was residing inside the Pleroma.

The worship of Jesus Christ by nailing him to a cross and there by making an idol of him also goes against the will of their God Jehovah. Either Catholics should admit that they no longer believe in Jehovah, the God of the Old Testament or abandon the Gnostic doctrine of Trinity. I hate hypocrites.

God is both a murderer and a saviour

I have been concentrating way too much on the concept of Pleroma in my posts and many people might think that I am a dualist. So in order to clear out those misconceptions I am going to unleash the real Kraken in this post. I am concentrating too much on the concept of Pleroma rather than talking about Non-dualism because that's a path of attaining Non-dualism which people have forgotten, very few people take that road to reality nowadays and I emphasized on Pleroma so that people can see and understand how radically different the concept of Non-dualism really is than what you hear from spiritual gurus or from New Age fellows. I stressed on Pleroma so that people can understand the true implications of the idea of Non-dualism.

What if I am going to say to you that Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela are equivalent to Adolf Hitler, Osama Bin Laden and Abu Bhakr Al Bhagdadi?

The former and the latter persons are equivalent to one and another because they are neither responsible for the good and evil actions that they did or committed. Mahatma Gandhi was not a Mahatma and neither was he a great human being and nor Adolf Hitler was a bad human being. Now one might ask how is Adolf Hitler not a bad human being when he was responsible for the death of millions of Jews? This is where the whole world slips. According to the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Valentinianism and the pagan mystery religions we human beings really have no free will, we are not in control of our lives, everything we dream of, think of and possess is not really ours.

Just as the Demiurge secretly moved by Sophia thinks that he acts alone the same also with human beings.

- Excerpt of Theodotus, Valentinian Christian

God is really the demon of Rene Descartes who deceives us into falsely believing that this world is real, that these bodies are ours, deceiving us that the voice which speaks inside us is us, deceiving us into believing that the psyche or the character is what make us who we really are only to wake up to realize to the truth that the dreams which we are chasing all our lives are not truly ours but instead it was someone else's to begin with. Its like we all are being set up to fight, to kill and to love each other without being aware of the fact that none of our thoughts are truly originating from us.

Western psychology has a very loose definition for the concept of Pride or Ego but in the traditional Indian psychology "Ego" is directly identified with God. In fact this is the whole essence of the Gayatri verse that many people chant it blindly today that God is the one who stimulates our thoughts.

  • God is the one who makes us commit sins and he is also the one who brings the wrath upon us for those sins.
  • God is the one who murders people and he is the one who saves us.
  • God is both evil and good.
  • God is both heat and cold.
  • God is both fire and water.
  • God is both love and hate.
  • God is both moral and immoral.
  • God is both our enemy and our friend.
  • God is both omnipresent and he is also omniabsent.
  • God is omnibenevolent and he is omnimalevolent.
  • God is omniscient and he is omniweak.
  • God is the one who sends us to hell and he is the one who sends us to heaven.
  • God is the one who makes us cry and he is the one who makes us laugh.
  • He is the one who forces us to take revenge upon others and he is the one who makes us to forgive those who do bad to us.
  • God is the one who make us commit adultery and fornification and he is the one who makes us be loyal to our husbands or wives.
  • God is the one who makes us fall in love and he is also the one who breaks our heart.
  • God is the one who brings famine and drought and he is also the one who brings harvest and rain.
  • God is the one who implants bombs at Churches, Mosques and at Temples and he is the one who sends aid to those who are killed at those places.

Can you see where am I going with this? To make you guys understand the real message out of this I have to quote the words of a great Quantum Physicist, Erwin Schroedinger who was deeply immersed in the Upanishads and contemplated its true implications.

"Our perceiving self is nowhere to be found with in the world picture because it itself is the world picture."

- Erwin Schroedinger, From Science to God by Peter Russell
Nārada Muni continued: What I referred to as the chariot was in actuality the body. The senses are the horses that pull that chariot. As time passes, year after year, these horses run without obstruction, but in fact they make no progress. Pious and impious activities are the two wheels of the chariot. The three modes of material nature are the chariot’s flags. The five types of life air constitute the living entity’s bondage, and the mind is considered to be the rope. Intelligence is the chariot driver. The heart is the sitting place in the chariot, and the dualities of life, such as pleasure and pain, are the knotting place. The seven elements are the coverings of the chariot, and the working senses are the five external processes. The eleven senses are the soldiers. Being engrossed in sense enjoyment, the living entity, seated on the chariot, hankers after fulfillment of his false desires and runs after sense enjoyment life after life.

Ego is a much more higher concept than Intelligence and the casket of Intelligence by itself cannot do anything without someone from behind stimulating our thoughts and that chariot driver is none other than Ego or God or in terms of Advaita Vedanta, it is Ishvar.

Now are we really in this world picture? Think about it, if none of our thoughts, our inner voice, our tastes, desires, dreams, our looks and characters are not truly ours then is there anything left that makes us who we are.

We all are prisoners of the cave whose souls are caught up in this world and this world is the cave of Mithras, now we have got two choices after realizing this truth, we can take the blue pill and continue to lead our lives experiencing all the pain, joy, sorrow, torments, insults, injustice, abuses, love, hate, kindness and cruelty that life has to offer us or take the red pill and escape from this world and realize who we really are.

There is no doubt that our souls are captivated in this world otherwise what's the whole point of trying to attain salvation. Now many believers of Advaita Vedanata have a false notion that they have already become Brahman or God since Non-dualism insists that "Thou are Brahman or God". They find the view that Brahman is caught up in this world and is being subject to suffering irreconcilable with the view that Brahman is all knowing and all blissful.

A question which I asked on Quora just to let people know that they have misunderstood Advaita Vedanta if they already thought that they have become God or Brahman since Advaita Vedanta says so.

We must accept the fact that our souls are caught up in this world and we are still in duality and not falsely believe that we have become one with God when we are not truly there yet. Remember, to attain Non-dualism one must ascend to all the higher heavens just like the apocalypse of Saint Paul and how he went high up to the Ogdoad to meet the Holy Father and just like the Egyptian priest in Mithras liturgy ascended to various heavens to finally meet King Helios Aion Mithras in order to receive immortality. That's how crazy the idea of Non-dualism really is, if you think you can attain Non-dualism by meditating silently at the footsteps of the Himalayas then you are wrong. You have to be the next Saint Paul of Tarsus or at least get caught up in some of the higher heavens because only a pure soul can pass over the guardians of the heavens.

Most people are just embarrassed to hold such a view of Non-dualism in this 21st century age, everyone wants to talk about Quantum Physics and science so that somehow it gives them some kind of credibility and more respect to their shitty ideas by mentioning some scientific words and by the invocation of few reputed scientists. Sorry jackasses if you want to attain Non-dualism you need to be the next Dante or the next Carl Gustav Jung, you need to rise up to the Ogdoad and meet the Holy Father in the heavens, that's how crazy it is so don't even imagine in your dreams that you know Brahman or God just by reading a few Upanishads and texts of Shankara and trying to find parallels to it from Modern Physics.

Carl Gustav Jung, the famous psychologist and Gnostic cracked this mystery through his studies of the Nag Hammadi Library which we can verify from his Red Book and the Seven Sermons to the Dead. (The Spiritually dead refers to the orthodox Christians).

Sermo II

In the night the dead stood along the wall and cried:
We would have knowledge of god. Where is god? Is god dead?
God is not dead. Now, as ever, he liveth. God is creatura, for he is something definite, and therefore distinct from the pleroma. God is quality of the pleroma, and everything which I said of creatura also is true concerning him.
He is distinguished, however, from created beings through this, that he is more indefinite and indeterminable than they. He is less distinct than created beings, since the ground of his being is effective fullness. Only in so far as he is definite and distinct is he creatura, and in like measure is he the manifestation of the effective fullness of the pleroma.
Everything which we do not distinguish falleth into the pleroma and is made void by its opposite. If, therefore, we do not distinguish god, effective fullness is for us extinguished.
Moreover god is the pleroma itself, as likewise each smallest point in the created and uncreated is the pleroma itself.
Effective void is the nature of the devil. God and devil are the first manifestations of nothingness, which we call the pleroma. It is indifferent whether the pleroma is or is not, since in everything it is balanced and void.
Not so creatura. In so far as god and devil are creatura they do not extinguish each other, but stand one against the other as effective opposites. We need no proof of their existence. It is enough that we must always be speaking of them. Even if both were not, creatura, of its own essential distinctiveness, would forever distinguish them anew out of the pleroma.
Everything that discrimination taketh out of the pleroma is a pair of opposites. To god, therefore, always belongeth the devil.
This inseparability is as close and, as your own life hath made you see, as indissoluble as the pleroma itself. Thus it is that both stand very close to the pleroma, in which all opposites are extinguished and joined.
God and devil are distinguished by the qualities fullness and emptiness, generation and destruction. Effectiveness is common to both.
Effectiveness joineth them. Effectiveness, therefore, standeth above both; is a god above god, since in its effect it uniteth fullness and emptiness.
This is a god whom ye knew not, for mankind forgot it. We name it by its name Abraxas. It is more indefinite still than god and devil.
That god may be distinguished from it, we name god Helios or Sun. Abraxas is effect. Nothing standeth opposed to it but the ineffective; hence its effective nature freely unfoldeth itself. The ineffective is not, therefore resisteth not. Abraxas standeth above the sun and above the devil. It is improbable probability, unreal reality. Had the pleroma a being, Abraxas would be its manifestation. It is the effective itself, not any particular effect, but effect in general.
It is unreal reality, because it hath no definite effect.
It is also creatura, because it is distinct from the pleroma.
The sun hath a definite effect, and so hath the devil. Wherefore do they appear to us more effective than indefinite Abraxas.
It is force, duration, change.
The dead now raised a great tumult, for they were Christians.

Sermo III

Like mists arising from a marsh, the dead came near and cried: Speak further unto us concerning the supreme god.
Hard to know is the deity of Abraxas. Its power is the greatest, because man perceiveth it not. From the sun he draweth the summum bonum; from the devil the infimum malum; but from Abraxas life, altogether indefinite, the mother of good and evil.
Smaller and weaker life seemeth to be than the summum bonum; wherefore is it also hard to conceive that Abraxas transcendeth even the sun in power, who is himself the radiant source of all the force of life.
Abraxas is the sun, and at the same time the eternally sucking gorge of the void, the belittling and dismembering devil.
The power of Abraxas is twofold; but ye see it not, because for your eyes the warring opposites of this power are extinguished.
What the god-sun speaketh is life.
What the devil speaketh is death.
But Abraxas speaketh that hallowed and accursed word which is life and death at the same time.
Abraxas begetteth truth and lying, good and evil, light and darkness, in the same word and in the same act. Wherefore is Abraxas terrible.
It is splendid as the lion in the instant he striketh down his victim. It is beautiful as a day of spring. It is the great Pan himself and also the small one. It is Priapos.
It is the monster of the under-world, a thousand-armed polyp, coiled knot of winged serpents, frenzy.
It is the hermaphrodite of the earliest beginning.
It is the lord of the toads and frogs, which live in the water and go up on the land, whose chorus ascendeth at noon and at midnight.
It is abundance that seeketh union with emptiness.
It is holy begetting.
It is love and love’s murder.
It is the saint and his betrayer.
It is the brightest light of day and the darkest night of madness.
To look upon it, is blindness.
To know it, is sickness.
To worship it, is death.
To fear it, is wisdom.
To resist it not, is redemption.
God dwelleth behind the sun, the devil behind the night. What god bringeth forth out of the light the devil sucketh into the night. But Abraxas is the world, its becoming and its passing. Upon every gift that cometh from the god-sun the devil layeth his curse.
Everything that ye entreat from the god-sun begetteth a deed of the devil.
Everything that ye create with the god-sun giveth effective power to the devil.
That is terrible Abraxas.
It is the mightiest creature, and in it the creature is afraid of itself.
It is the manifest opposition of creatura to the pleroma and its nothingness.
It is the son’s horror of the mother.
It is the mother’s love for the son.
It is the delight of the earth and the cruelty of the heavens.
Before its countenance man becometh like stone.
Before it there is no question and no reply.
It is the life of creatura.
It is the operation of distinctiveness.
It is the love of man.
It is the speech of man.
It is the appearance and the shadow of man.
It is illusory reality.
Now the dead howled and raged, for they were unperfected.

Jung is speaking the same thing in terms of Gnostic terminology as what Erwin Schroedinger said that we are nowhere to be found within this world picture and that all the dualities of life is carried out by the supreme God Abraxas.

But do we really have the choice even to take the blue pill or the red pill, isn't it true that even that is preordained by God. Then how can we say that it is by our effort and by our works of the Law that we attained redemption. Did we? Really? This is where the grace of God comes into the picture. Obviously such a God is not worthy of worship who turns us away from him and at the same time brings the wrath upon us for not loving him when we have absolutely no freedom over the choices that we make.

Our only hope and belief is to believe that this God is good and he will free us from this bondage through his grace for us. In fact this is the belief in the pagan mystery religions that God is preparing all of us to make ourselves free from bondage so we must stop weeping for every small things that goes along with our lives.

There is no concept of Devil in the pagan mystery religions and also in the Upanishads and the Vedas. Now in a typical Christian environment all the good things would be attributed to God and all the evil things that happens in one's life would be attributed as done by the Devil. This is not our view, according to us both Good and Evil is carried out by the Supreme God for everything is working according to the Will of The Father and our true self is nowhere to be found with in this world picture.

All our souls have the potential within themselves to become God but the potential in us can only be extracted by God alone through his grace for us, he has to bring us to his feet and he has to make us pray for him and he has to show us the real truth as to who we really are.

Where then is boasting?

Isn't this the death of Ego and the emergence of the truth of Non-dualism that "I am God, God and I are One"?
I'm currently reading the latest 25 books I purchased a week ago, and some library books:

o Hellenistic myths and mystery religions
o The controversy over Copenhagenist quantum mechanics
o Tenseless (illusory) time
o Several ~$85 books on determinism, including in Stoic thought
o Rethinking "Gnosticism": An Argument for Dismantling a Dubious Category

The Gnostics, like the mystery initiates, understood the threat of block-universe fatalism to human freedom, and were motivated mainly by hating such a metaphysically disempowering jail cell of "astrological" cosmic determinism, and by *wanting* and *attempting* to find a way of transcending, in some sense, the frozen space-time cosmos.

Whether they succeeded, in some sense, at transcending the ego-killing trap of illusory/frozen time is a matter of debate and a matter of investigating the notion of transcendence.  All the hatred and loathing of my block-universe idea exhibited by some contemporary Gnostics only serves to confirm the plausibility of my portrayal of how the ancients had mixed feelings about the Fatalism they perceived and believed in.

I'm not interested in truth per se, but by making sense out of mystery-experiencing.  I'm constructing a simple, consistent model of how our personal power of will and self-control sits with respect to the time dimension, and how the ancients experienced initiation in the mystery religions.  The ancients were concerned above all with the problematic metaphysical aspects of personal freedom.

We cannot say, with low-level detail, that their myths had only one meaning, regarding our metaphysical freedom or lack of it, or our transcendence of metaphysical unfreedom.  But we can certainly say that the Gnostics and mysteries had one high-level, overarching meaning: grappling with the problematic nature of personal metaphysical freedom.

Each Gnostic group or thinker, and each mystery tradition, and each myth, may have drawn different conclusions or told the religious story in different ways, but there is one commonality across all this diversity: they all were concerned primarily with the problematic nature of personal metaphysical freedom.  When certain contemporary Gnostics rail against my model of the frozen block universe, they only add support to the above thesis of what concern, what issue, what *problem* unites all the variant traditions of the diverse Gnostic groups and mystery traditions.

I have cracked the code, penetrated the mysteries, and solved the puzzle, by identifying the question, the problem, what was really at issue.  The way to finally make sense of the various Hellenistic myths in an encompassing way is through reading them as encoded allegories of mystic-state encounters with the problematic nature of personal metaphysical freedom.  Cries by certain Gnostics against the frozen block-universe model only strengthen this thesis.

o  Is the universe in fact frozen, with time being illusory?
o  Is our power and freedom a frozen illusion as well?
o Can we meaningfully transcend such deathly freezing or rock-embedding of the entire time axis?
o  Is there a legitimate and coherent way that we can, like Mithras, exit from the rock-womb and become legitimately free?

These are matters for debate and do not overthrow the value of my model of time and personal control, as a fundamental and basic model to consider as a hypothesis and reference point that all initiates must know.  No one should believe that time is an illusion, along with our personal power to author our own future, but *everyone* should *know* this idea as a fundamental hypothesis and point of reference.
